After determining that there is a problem or failure of the shock absorber, you should first check whether the shock absorber is leaking oil or has signs of stale oil leakage.

If oil leakage is found, first tighten the cylinder cover nut, if the shock absorber still leaks oil, it may be the oil seal, sealing washer damage failure, should be replaced with a new seal. If you still can not eliminate oil leakage, you should pull out the shock absorber rod, if you feel a hairpin or light weight is not a moment, and then further check whether the gap between the piston and cylinder cylinder is too large, the shock absorber piston connecting rod with or without bending, the piston connecting rod surface and cylinder cylinder cylinder whether there are scratches or pull marks.

If there is no oil leakage from the shock absorber, check whether the shock absorber connecting pin, connecting rod, connecting hole, rubber bushing, etc. are damaged, de-welded, ruptured or detached. If the above checks are normal, the shock absorber should be further disassembled to check whether the piston and cylinder clearance between the cylinder is too large, cylinder with or without strain, the valve seal is good, the valve valve and valve seat fit is tight, and the shock absorber extension spring is too soft or broken, according to the situation to take the repair grinding or replacement of the repair method.
